The Battery

Panasonics Home Storage Battery System can be installed indoors or outdoors. The Lithium-ion battery offers a maximum self –consumption mode to work in conjunction with a solar power system or can be programmed to charge and discharge at set times of the day.

The Bigger Picture

The Home Storage Battery System can benefit all New Zealanders and is at the forefront changing how we view power consumption. Incentives from the utilities to reduce power consumption at peak demand times are already being trialled by many stakeholders with a flow on affect to end users. The Home Storage Battery System can provide an integrated solution for these programs.

The Home Storage Batteries can be aggregated allowing utilities to discharge and charge power to and from the home when needed to help stabilise the power grid and potentially defer investment in infrastructure.

The financial rewards of using this technology will increase with the cost of power so utilities and system integrators are starting to realize the true benefits of this game-changing technology.
